There's a Run on 2024 Topps Chrome Marvel Sapphire, and It's Actually Two Different Runs If you've looked at eBay sold listings for 2024 Topps Chrome Marvel Sapphire this week, you've probably done a double take. Card #1, the base Spider-Man sapphire, the plain blue crackle ice parallel that was a stable $20 to $50 card for most of this year, is now closing auctions with 30, 40, over 50 bids and hammer prices in the hundreds. One raw copy sold August 16 for $4,600 after 53 bids. Another went for $620 after 23 bids the same day. As of this week there's a listing sitting at $510 with 42 bids and days left to run. That's not a rare parallel. That's not serial numbered. That's the base card.
